How To Get Six-Pack Abs

Loads of people are on a mission to get a flatter stomach – or that ever elusive 6 pack.

The problem is there’s a lot of crap information floating around about how to actually achieve this. Now this might sound like common sense to you, but for a lot of people it isn’t…

Doing ab exercises will NOT reduce fat on your stomach specifically.

So those 1000 crunches you’re doing every day aren’t really helping that much at all. There’s numerous studies showing that the effect of ab exercises on the reduction on belly fat is virtually non-existent.

So, if doing endless sit ups isn’t the answer to getting great abs then what is?

The answer is simple…

Lose more body fat.

Everyone has abs, they’re just generally hidden under a layer of flab And the only way to unveil them is to get rid of that layer.

The simple way to do it is…

Eat in a calorie deficit (eat less calories than your body burns) and train hard 3-4 times a week with a focus on strength training and strongman style conditioning.

Essentially that’s all there is to it.

So, ditch the 200 twisting sit ups at the start and end of your session and use that time to track your food using an app like MyFitnessPal so you can make sure you’re eating the right amount of food to actually make progress.

Also, just to crush another myth . . . you can’t really train to lose body fat on one specific area, so if you find yourself asking…

“What exercises can I do to lose belly fat?”

Then stop.

You lose fat gradually across your whole body, and unfortunately your stomach is one of those stubborn areas where quite often the fat is last to “disappear” from.

Now look, I understand that I could hype up some bullshit exercises to make you believe that miracles happen and body fat can magically vanish from your body and that might make SH more money in the short term but..

I’d not only be lying.

I’d be scamming people.

And giving you false hope.

Which is exactly why my advice always remains the same…

Train hard, track what you eat, be consistent and have patience.

It’s not glamorous.

But it works.
